BIOGRAPHY
Tyrone aka Mr. Davis was born in a small town named Cooling Spring, in the parish of Portland on the east side of Jamaica West Indies. He was raised in a small town called “Three Hills” (Charles Town),
in the parish of St. Mary. This is where he also attended basic and primary school. Davis said that from an early age he knew he had a passion for music, “because music makes me feel so good whenever I hear it.”
In 1991 he migrated to Jamaica, Queens, New York to live with his grandmother. It was there where he was raised and attended PS 147 Elementary School. After graduating he moved to Miramar, Florida. There he discovered his Dad named him after the great Legendary singer Tyrone Davis. It got even better after learning that Dancehall Legend, mega-superstar Rodney Price Aka Bounty Killa is his cousin, that was exciting for him to know as the first phrase he learned from any song was, “Lord Of Mercy”, from Bounty Killa. Shabba Ranks is another favorite for Mr. Davis. His grandfather Stanley Alexander Rafael Davis was a movie star in the legendary movie, “Country Man.” At that point he owned the reality that his space in the industry was ordained and just waiting for him to claim it. In addition to being apart of the entertainment business, he was also a supervisor at the Jamaica Public Service Ltd working for many years and got an award for holding 5000 volts of power with his raw hands.
Throughout his middle school years, he got his inspiration from his aunt Paulette Reeves, who was a top hair stylist and with his career path as a Master Barber, he found himself working with the “Mega-Stars” in the Entertainment industry worldwide! He got his success from being a cheerful giver by the gifts that God blessed him with. “Making people smile and feel good about themselves is what life is all about. Being around legendary rappers, singers & actors like Run DMC, Roberta Flack, & Orlando Jones, I got reconnected to the music.”
